ExerciseThe McCrorey Family YMCA Wellness Director organizes Charlotte REACH 2010 exercise programs. This intervention has promoted exercise as a mode of prevention and treatment for cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Because of the numerous barriers related to becoming and remaining physically active, the exercise intervention elected to bring exercise classes to the residents in the Northwest Corridor. ![]() Image: LHA's exercising Land and Water Exercise Classes The YMCA offers 14 separate classes each week for target community residents.
