"I’ve enjoyed being a LHA because I feel that I’ve helped my neighbors; even those who only wanted someone to talk to. Most of them are senior citizens."  ~Mable Latimer - LHA

Diabetes Management/Primary Care

Diabetes Management Team

A group of healthcare professionals at CMC Biddle Point works as a diabetes management team to provide and monitor quality assurance for patients with diabetes. The mission of the group is to improve the standards of care and increase adherence and compliance to the medical plan of care.

PECS

2006 starts the New Patient Electronic Care System (PECS) replacing the CVDEMS. This system is design to assist primary care providers with a better management and tracking of quality of care provided to patients with diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
